Text Box: Breastfeeding Support Group:  Get information, help and support with breastfeeding problems from a Lactation Consultant.  Or, if you are pregnant and want to learn more about breastfeeding, you will  benefit by attending this group.  For more information, or to make a one-on-one appointment, call Ruth at 416-249-8000 x 2253.  This on-going group meets the first and third Thursday of the month, from 9:30 to 11:30am.

Text Box: Diabetes Clinic:  Black Creek CHC in partnership with Lawrence Heights CHC is offering a Diabetes Clinic every Friday from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Clinic will consist of individual counseling sessions with a nurse and a dietitian that will help educate you on healthy eating and better diabetes control.  Each client will receive one half hour with each practitioner.

Text Box: ESSO Math: An interactive program for mothers and fathers and their children 3-6 years old.  Math concepts and skills will be developed through the use of fun games and activities.  For more information and to register, please call Adele at 416-249-800 x 2253.

Text Box: Healthiest Babies Possible:  This program, facilitated by Toronto Public Health, supports women who have healthy pregnancies and improved lifestyles, with a focus on nutrition.   To register, please call (416) 338-7600.

Text Box: Play & Learn with Your Toddler:  Every Wednesday afternoon, this program will give parents & caregivers & their toddlers 10-24 months, the opportunity to practice singing songs & rhymes.  These activities will help children develop listening skills & foster opportunities to use their imagination.  Call to register at 416-249-8000 x 2253.

Text Box: Make the Connection: Get your baby off to a good start by developing a nurturing relationship with an emphasis on communication and learning.  This program is for infants 4-9 months old,  and will run at Black Creek CHC for 9 weeks..  For more information, call Adele at 416-249-8000 x 2253.

Text Box: Sexual Health Clinic:  Black Creek Community Health Centre in partnership with Toronto Public Health provide a walk-in sexual health clinical services every Tuesday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Text Box: Healthy Youth Program:  Black Creek CHC brings together a dynamic group of youth wanting to develop leadership skills though participation in community initiatives.

Text Box: Self-Care Support Group: These workshops are offered on the second Tuesday of each month from 4.30-6.30pm. They are geared towards helping moms with children 0-6 years old to direct sufficient attention towards their self care, including mental, spiritual and physical self-care.  The series of workshops address: stress management, sleep issues, balancing personal self-care and caring for other family members, managing children’s behaviours and more.
 
Moms are kindly requested to confirm their participation. Child minding is offered upon confirmation of need. Light refreshments, TTC tickets and a $10 food voucher are also offered as workshop incentives.
