Text Box: Choices for Living Program:  A support group for women 25 to 40 years old who are coping with depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
This group meet on Wednesdays at Black Creek Community Health Centre.  To register please call (416) 487-7151 ext 237. 

Text Box: C.L.A.S.P. (Community  & Legal Aid Services:  C.L.A.S.P. can help you with basic legal problems, represent you in certain courts and tribunals, and provide legal advice on tenancy issues, income support, criminal issues, immigrations, domestic violence and workers’ rights.  The Legal Clinic operates at Black Creek CHC every Thursday night from 5:00—8:00pm.

Text Box: Healthiest Babies Possible:  This program, facilitated by Toronto Public Health, supports women who have healthy pregnancies and improved lifestyles, with a focus on nutrition.   To register, please call (416) 338-7600.

Text Box: Infant Hearing Screening Services:  If you are concerned about your baby’s hearing, you can make an appointment for a free screening.  Call 416-338-8255 and tell them you want your baby screened at Black Creek CHC.

Text Box: Tuesday Evening Prenatal Program:  If you are looking for an evening prenatal program, you can call (416) 633-0515, extension 135 to learn more about this program.  This on-going program runs from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm every week at Black Creek CHC.

Text Box: Breastfeeding Support Group:  Get information, help and support from a Lactation Consultant.  For more information, or to make a one-on-one      appointment, call Ruth at 416-249-8000 x 2253.  This on-going group meets the first and third Thursday of the month, from 9:30 to 11:30am.

Text Box: Healthy Youth Program:  Black Creek CHC brings together a dynamic group of youth wanting to develop leadership skills though participation in community initiatives.   For more information call Kofi 416 249 1252 ext. 2244.

Text Box: Teen Moms on the Move:  A group for parenting teens who meet for support, guidance, education, employment and fun.  If you wish to join other young mothers, call to register at (416) 249-8000.

Text Box: Legal Arts:  If you’re a youth, between 18-24 years old, you can join this exciting program to learn more about the legal system, and use creative art forms to educate other youth in the community. Please contact Kofi at (416) 249-1252 ext. 2244 to register.

Text Box: Monthly Mental Health Support Group:  This is a closed group facilitated in Spanish.  For more information call Vivian at (416) 249-8000.

Text Box: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: This is a 12-week program for Spanish Speaking residents who experience depression, anxiety or stress. To register, please call Vivian at 416 249 8000 ext. 2238.

Text Box: Never Too Old To Learn: This on-going program is for those 55 and up, and offers a variety of educational workshops and activities of interest to seniors in a group setting.  Pre-registration is required for the Tuesday and Wednesday groups which take place from 10:00am 12:00pm.  For more information and to register call Cyril  at  (416) 249-1252 x 2247.

Text Box: Strengthening Families: is a 14-week program for families and was designed to promote youth resilience, helping them avoid risky behaviours like substance use and feelings of anger or depression. It has been shown to provide very good relationship outcomes for youth (age 7-11) and their caregivers. To register, please call Lisa at 416 249 8000 ext 2298.

Text Box: Self-Care Support Group: These workshops are offered on the second Tuesday of each month from 4.30-6.30pm. They are geared towards helping moms with children 0-6 years. The series of workshops address: stress management, sleep issues, balancing personal self-care and caring for other family members, managing children’s behaviours and more.
